And although this complex machine is quite expensive, its popularity is growing.

The reason is that during her work there is no need for physical effort at all. The robot performs the work according to the programmed program, independently. It is no longer necessary to push a heavy loaded mower in front of you or to manage it with difficulty, performing complex maneuvers. That is, no physical work. In addition, time is freed up, and you can fill it with anything - other work, interesting activities, hobbies, or even just relaxing. This is the main feature of the robot automatic lawn mower - it completely frees the user from boring and hard work and gives him a gain in time. The cutting width reaches 56-60 cm, which in terms of productivity is comparable even to gasoline lawn mowers . Recommended plots from 20 acres to 1 hectare. Commercial robotic lawn mowers will perform high-quality cutting on huge areas. Their destiny is 1000 square meters and more. The most powerful ones can easily cut grass on an area of ​​2.5 hectares and can work together in one area.
Conditions for the purchase and efficient operation of a mowing robot


When choosing a grass robot, the first thing to do is take a good look at your lawn. Unfortunately, this technique is not suitable for all areas.

There are several conditions for the robot to work correctly and efficiently:

The area must be perfectly level. A certain number of bumps and depressions are allowed, but be sure to choose a model that has a tilt sensor;
Drops and slopes should be no more than 45%. Each lawn robot model equipped with a tilt angle sensor has its own critical indicator. Most often it is 20-25% (for household models). For professional devices, the mowing angle increases. They have steeper hills on their shoulders. However, no more than 45% is the maximum slope for such a mower;

The sown grass should be of certain varieties, soft, well-groomed. If the vegetation is very tough (weeds, wild stems), then the robot mower will not cope with it. He will simply stop work, or perceive such grass as an obstacle to a detour, or even worse, a breakdown will occur;
Well defined perimeter. Since the principle of operation of robotic equipment is based on the signal from the perimeter limiter, special attention must be paid to laying this cable. We lay a copper single-core wire along the contour of the lawn. The perimeter must be continuous, the entrance and exit are brought into the base. Here you need to take into account that the sensors that “see an obstacle” only work when the machine stumbles upon them, and react to a size greater than 10 cm in height. That is, they will “bypass” the tree and the shrub or bench too, but they may not notice the fountain, as well as the flower beds.
