7 Tips To Stay Focused at Work

Whether you work in an office or at home, staying focused during work hours can be challenging. Between all the personal tasks you need to complete and the unplanned interruptions that occur throughout the day, it can be difficult to concentrate on your job. If this sounds all too familiar, follow these seven tips to help you stay on top of your work during the day.

1. Fuel Your Body
One of the best things you can do to stay attentive is to properly fuel your body. And no, this does not mean drinking a few cups of coffee in the morning. Without daily nutrients, your body lacks the nourishment it needs to function properly and keep you alert, focused and energized.

7. Avoid Distractions
Do your best to avoid distractions throughout the day. For example, turn off notifications on your phone or switch the phone to silent mode. If you know you will spend 20 minutes talking to a friend if you walk by his or her desk, do not walk by it until you have the time.
