How has armour changed with all the changes in combat? And RS gold what is the current state of change? From what I can see, there are two questions. 1. Does armour no longer grant attack bonuses. 2. What incentives do I require to wear my class-appropriate gear? The new d'hide/purple robes/rune appear to provide the same life and defense advantages. What is the mechanism behind this? Are these robes as secure as rune? Why would I wear rune?

Theoretically, because offensive bonuses no longer come form armor, if a safespotting mage/archer is a skilled archer/safespotting mage/archer then wearing inferior armor should not put me at more disadvantage than someone with the most powerful armor. Is that correct?

This isn't an armor question but spiders are easy to squash. How can I determine their weaknesses with other weapons? What is the best way to determine which element of spell is best suited to combating them, or what kind of ammunition I should use? Or should I just forget all about using melee against them

I've heard that a lot of weapons are now balanced. Does this apply to armor too? AKA: Will I be able use chain mail to crush enemy without losing my defensive bonuses? Did Square shields and Medium helmets also get changes? The update isn't clear enough for me, and I'm trying to comprehend it. Any help is appreciated. We appreciate your help.

Runescape's Evolution of Combat update continues to cause havoc for its players. In this way, Runescape players are hearing the battle cry "Adapt or die!" EoC supporters usually hear this cry since they believe that adjusting to change is a good thing.

The problem is that people are creators and thinkers. We are conditioned to adapt the environment to our requirements. Talk it out if that environment includes others. Being a sheep means being able to adapt to the environment and passively accepting what others say. You get slaughtered.

These are indicators of intelligence: focus and flexibility. Jagex is not one of them. It's been uncompromising in its approach to been pushing out updates and its focus on dollars, not people. Jagex's communication methods are the cause of the issue. In the end the Runescape forum is what's at the root of the issue. Forums are where Jagex and players can talk and start getting Runescape rolling once more.

Jagex might believe that Runescape could be saved by adjusting to different MMOs. Another variation on the idea of adapt or die. Jmods are limited in the people they can communicate with. It's all about time, they can only talk to a handful of people per day. Most Jmods will have a limited selection of players they cheap RuneScape gold speak to, if any. These relationships will have built over time and will basically be "Yes!" groups that will accept whatever Jmod has to say. With Fmods (some disguised Jmods) stamping out any discontent on forums.
